Gift of Social Media

Gift of Social Media

At 460 Communications, we value the importance of community. This is why we are so excited to announce a contest that enables us to give back to our local community, while allowing a deserving non-profit organization the chance to build and grow their community online.

We are officially launching our Gift of Social Media contest on May 16. One deserving non-profit in the Nanaimo-area will win a social media consulting package from 460 Communications valued at $10,000. Included in the prize package is:

  • One year of social media management by 460 Communications. This includes the development of an editorial calendar, management of all posts and comments (advertising budget is not included)
  • Strategic advice and hands-on training for your staff
  • Custom graphic design for each of your social media platforms

Over the year, our team will work closely with you to help you boost your online presence and grow your skills with social media so that you can utilize it more effectively in the future.

So, how do you enter to win? Simply send us an email to info@460communications.com telling us why your organization could use our help with social media. Please provide us with a brief background on your organization, along with the goals you hope to achieve by winning this prize. Please also include a note about how you currently utilize social media in your organization, if at all.  Applications will be accepted until 4:00 pm on June 13, and we will announce our winner on June 17.

While we would love to be able to give this gift to each and every one of you, unfortunately there can only be one winner. However, each non-profit who sends in a contest application will receive a 25% discount on our custom social media training sessions that we have specifically designed for non-profits like you! We will be sharing more information about these courses as dates are solidified, but this will be a great opportunity for those groups who do not have the funds to hire a dedicated employee to manage social media, but wish to grow their internal capacity to manage it on their own.

Whether you are looking for help telling your story, connecting with donors, sharing your successes, fundraising, or simply finding volunteers, social media is a fantastic tool to take your communication efforts to the next level! We are so excited to help you find your voice and share your story. Best of luck to all of you!
