Andrea is passionate about sharing stories that connect people. With +16 years’ experience in communications and marketing, she has the luxury of making her passion her career.
Graduating from Vancouver Island University with a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing and Management, Andrea has worked in both the private and not-for profit sectors and is excited to bring her knowledge and experience to the 460 Communications team as their Senior Director.
Knowing that no single approach is the right one for every individual, Andrea spends time with each client to help understand their vision and goals and develop a customized strategic plan to achieve maximum success. She knows to set her clients apart from others in their field means harnessing their story and developing a strong personal brand.
Andrea loves supporting her community and sits as the Nanaimo co-chair for BC Children’s Hospital Foundation’s Communities for Kids Committee, is a resource parent for families of children with congenital heart disease and loves planning a good fundraising event! When she’s not working with her 460 Communications clients or planning a community event, you can find her with her family having a dance party in the kitchen, exploring the mountains and beaches of Vancouver Island or hosting a house full of friends on a Friday night.

Drawn into the design field by way of a passion for illustration, Scott brings a broad skillset and a craftsman’s attention to detail to the 460 Communications team.
Since graduating from VIU’s graphic design program in 2007, Scott has developed a wealth of experience, working in both the newspaper and signage industry before joining a creative firm.
Prior to working at 460, Scott spent over two years working as a graphic designer at Impact Visual Communications, where he had the opportunity to work with a number of clients on a wide variety of projects, including 7-11, the Vancouver Island Short Film Festival, VIU’s Student Union, and the Stz’uminus First Nation.
Whether working on established brands, or creating new identities from the ground up, Scott approaches every project with the goal of empowering his clients through positive and creative messaging.

Megan's love for social media is evident when you meet her. Usually taking photos and sourcing social content whenever possible, the ability to create a career in this quick-changing industry is truly a dream come true for her.
With a Bachelor of Tourism Management Degree from VIU, the majority of her career has been spent working in the tourism industry, including Visitor Centres, hospitality & event management, and even at Walt Disney World. Most recently, Megan's time was spent working in Destination Marketing, as she called Tourism Nanaimo her home for the last 10 years. In her time there, Tourism Nanaimo won several awards for digital marketing campaigns and social media excellence, and was recognized by Destination BC as a leader in social media. Megan was proud to play a pivotal role in the success of putting Nanaimo on the map.
With a solid understanding of social media platforms, what styles fit best for each business, and the eagerness to learn and research this fast-paced form of digital marketing, Megan looks forward to the opportunity to discuss your social needs and help get you on the right path.
When not at work, Megan loves spending time with her family exploring Vancouver Island and taking a gazillion photos for social media (of course).

Since interviewing anyone she could as a child, it’s no surprise Rae-Anne’s passion for storytelling has led her to become a videographer.
Every story matters. Your story matters. It’s in sharing our stories authentically that we can create connection and opportunity. Rae-Anne uses her skills to craft her client’s purpose, their WHY, into meaningful content to engage audiences. It’s the variety and creativity of every project that truly motivates her.
After graduating from BCIT’s Broadcast and Communications program, Rae-Anne has been actively working as a video journalist for community news and owns the multi-media production company, Kasba Media. In 2013, she embarked on a life-changing experience to produce an environmental documentary about the preservation of Sable Island and its wild horses.
When Rae-Anne doesn’t have a lens in hand, she can usually be found on her farm gardening or exploring the wilderness with her family and two dogs. A huge advocate for sustainable living, Rae-Anne hopes to one day live completely off-grid.
